So we went away for a long weekend to Haven’s Rockley Park, us and the rest of the Clarkson family in 3 caravans and some suprisingly awesome weather!

The vans were really nice, loads of room and loads of stuff, the kids had loads of space to run around. We had space outside to eat, which we did together a couple of times and breakfast was almost always at mums!!!!

We saw lots of characters, including Bradley at breakfast and Anxious on the last night!

We discovered that Toby loves machines and he can wrap grandad around his finger, easy!

I love Haven and I think for a UK holiday with kids, I can’t think of anything better.

Were on another Haven Holiday, this time in Poole at Rockley park. It never ceases to amaze me how something very simple just seems to work every time.

We’ve just had a great easy night, couple of pints, little bit of fish and chips, lots of characters and even a little bit of arcade!

It’s nice to get away to somewhere where the kids are very welcome and everyone can enjoy the night.

I’ll write a full summary in the next couple of days.

The family have had a very busy holiday, I’ve been involved with some but more often than not its just beem Laura and the children. They’ve been to farms, friends, holidays in Devon, staying with friends in Wales, even a couple of days at major attractions.

Drayton Manor was a big hit, part of the reason I decided on America, I would thoroughly recommend, even though I didn’t personally go, just for the way that the kids tried to tell me all about it when they got home!

Wales and Devon were good mini holidays, plenty of things to do even if the weather didn’t play ball all the time. It’s nice to be able to just get away from the house sometimes, means that you don’t end up fretting about things at home.

But most of all, I can’t believe it’s over, school and Playgroup are about to start and the world will go back to normal, and then of course, the summer weather will begin!

Oh, and we’ve still got Haven to go!

Having now booked our American holiday I have started to turn my attention to the details. I know that we will have wireless internet access in the house which means I can blog and upload pictures on the way, problem is I don’t want to take a laptop. Can I do this from my phone ?

I think it will be a great idea and a deffinate way of creating a diary of the holiday. It should mean that I remeber stuff when it happens and I get to instantley share it with other people.

I’ll have a go at my options on the phone, I can obviously blog using the wordpress app, upload pictures to Flickr no problem at all but I can also blog from Flickr and upload pics to WordPress.

Oh well, I’ve got some time to work it out, in the mean time there might be a few posts that look a little wired or ramble until I work it out.

I am trying to start blogging and I still think that the iPhone is the beat platform to do this.

I’m not sure if blogging is that interesting for my own personal life but I think for work and maybe personal projects. Over the last couple of days I have had a few things that I would have liked to blog.

So, if your interested in gadgets, and stuff like that, let me know !

We’ve been to the lake district for the weekend, on our own, sans kids!

I’ve never been to the lake district before so its something very new
to me, makes a nice change from the coast. The only comment I would
have to make is “equipment”. You can’t seem to move here for Goretex
jackets and boots and that’s in the newsagents!

Anyway, we had a very lovely time in Ambleside and we will almost
deffinatley come back one day, maybe even with the kids. In the mean
time if your looking for a highly recommended B&B you’ll do no worst

I’m off to pack my gadgets then take the bags to the car.

After a wonderful dinner at the Brady’s everybody posed for a picture. Toby is quite the entertainer today and very much liked his potato.
